Dawson vs. Henry Ennis & Co—which has been commenced in the Cir[?] Court of the United States—there has been no subpeanas [sic] issued—The following names I send you—which you will please have subpeaneas [sic] issued for________________ I hope the case may be tried at this term of court—and I should be glad that to have it so arranged that I need not attend the whole term—but depend on you to let me know what day the case would be tried so that I could come and bring the witnesses with me—and have it disposed of without delay and unnecessary expense_____________ I am depending entirely on you for the trial of the case— Yours truly &c I.J.
