King Geo. C. H. January 6th 1860 Mr. Benjn. L. Rodman desires a situation as Bookkeeper or Salesman in some Mercantile House; has had twelve years experience in the business; and would do all in his power to render himself profitable to his employer. We hope that through the assistance of the Hon. A. R. Holladay and Mr. John Seddon he may procure a situation. We recommend him as sober, industrious and honest. If Mr. R. cannot command a situation as above desired, he is willing to take one in any respectable business that will enable him to support his family. I most cordially recommend Mr. Rodman to those who may wish to employ a bookkeeper or salesman. He is eminently worthy of confidence and competent to do what he will undertake. Alex R.
