to you, our friend Mr George B Buell, who 
has lately returned from the Island of Bermuda
W I, and as he may be able to interest 
you, in matters of which he has information, of
value to the Government, we would ask your
kind attentions in his behalf
Mr Buell was a clerk
in our store from 1854 to 1862, we have entire
confidence in his character and believe that
his statements can be relied upon
