is a beautiful and appealing inspiration,
breathing a wholesome spirit
of "Adelante"! which I trust will
meet he corresponding answer you
would wish in every fortunate reader.

I was already looking forward 
to writing you during the Easter
holidays to tell you how much
I have enjoyed and appreciated
the beautiful profitably spent Life
of your dear mother. How well you
have depicted the extraordinary character
combination of masculine
strength of will and purpose for a
just though upheaving cause, and
feminine modesty, sweetness and
gentleness that must win the admiration
of every reader of this
interesting Biography! I am
certainly grateful that you favored
me with a copy of this life,
which we welcome to our Library.
What a consolation for you,

your talent to make known that
life in its true phases and values
and thus immortalize her name.

reciprocate your kind beneficial
interest in our Literature, by presenting
Christina Rossetti's Poem in Spanish
