My dear Miss Blackwell,
Will thee do me the kindness to 
tell me on the enclosed card, if the "little 
grandmother of the Russian Revolution" is still 
in active life. I cannot remember reading of
her recently. Just now I am reading her "Life 
and Letters" to a company of about twenty 
elderly Friends, and we are deeply interested. 
There have been places in the marvelous 
story, where I have had to stop and say 
"She was certainly taken possession of by 
the Divine Spirit!" There is such a desire 
among us to know where and how she 
is, that I venture to intrude upon thy 
valuable time; and we shall be very grateful 
for the briefest possible reply to the 
where and the how.
