BLACKWELL FAMILY From Ogle, Cyril ELIZABETH BLACKWELLCopy 96 Gloucester Place Portman Square March 17. Dear Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell A meeting of a committee composed of Dr. Owen (Dean of the Medical School of St. George's Hospital); Dr. Buckmaster, the Lecturer on Biology and myself as Assistant-Physician, met today concerning the "Leigh Browns Endowment" about which you were so good as to speak to my father, Dr. J.W. Ogle. One or two plans were discussed which were thought might suit the views of the Trustees in the matter, but it was felt that if a personal interview could be arranged between one or two membersof the above Committee, and a representative of the Trustees, the question could be far more easily settled; as so much depends upon the amount of funds available, and the duration, and other details. I am therefore asked to write to you, to ask whether a meeting could be arranged at any early date, either here, or elsewhere at your convenience, between one or two of the Committee, and one of the Trustees; preferably, of course, yourself. If you would inform me whether you are likely to be in London in the near future, and give me a date, I would be glad to arrange the details as regards place of meeting etc: Believe me yours very sincerely Cyril Ogle.
