Blackwell Family Kitty Barry Gorman, Mary[*O. Gorman*] 36 Berwick Street Pimlico, SW. (Oct 18, 1898) Dear Miss Barry I write to thank you for the vase which you so kindly sent me. It does remind me of dear Miss Marian. She liked it so. I have it in my window with a nice bunch of flowers in it. I have observed the people turn to look at it as they pass. it does look nice. good Mrs Litterton sent me the lovely tea set a pretty forget me not pattern. I am sure one would not find prettyer in London. I used it for the first time when Linny came and she was charmed with it. Indeed I dont know how to thank all my kind friends from Rock house. I was glad to see Linny. I think she enjoyed herself while here, but the weather was very foggy. She went home on Saturday. we went to st pauls and Westminister Abbey she seemed very pleased with it all. I was in hopes that maybe Sarah would come along before the weather got bad. Well I hope she will come some time in the near future. Linny tells me Sarah is quite well and cheerful as usual. I am glad. I hope she will write to me soon. I am getting on very nicely. I like Londonall right, but I miss dear Rockhouse much. I shall be glad to see your dear Miss Barry when ever you shall come this way. Concluding with fond love to Sarah [?] I remain dear Miss Barry your obedient + affectionate Servant Mary OGorman
