Dear Madam,
  Mr. Hickman of Birmingham has written me with reference to the 
conveyance of a funeral party, which you shortly expect to have to
organise, from Hastings to Gourock for Kilmun via L.&. N. W. and Caledonian
Railways, and requested me to give you particulars of the journey. I 
have pleasure in quoting a through service showing the time of departure
from Hastings and time due Kilmun, together with the rate for a Corpse
and the fares for passengers accompanying same. 
I will make the necessary arrangements for the van with corpse 
to go through to Gourock on hearing from you further. 
The previous service leaves Euston at 10.10am and we have no 
means of making a connection with it.
