Blackwell and Alice stone Blackwell per the [?] left by this will to them. As this disposition of my property will diminish the family income, it is my desire that so long as my daughter makes her home with her father she shall share a reasonable part of the family expense, or pay her board or both - it is my wish that within ten years, my daughter shall give $1000 to the town of West Brookfield to be held by prior trustees who consist of five women and one man, who shall forever appoint this new successors: said trustees shall use the interest of the money each year to buy books for the library these books shall consist mainly histories, travels, biogra -phies good current literature. Theological or sectarian books shall not be purchased from this bequest. in case of the death of my daughter without issue she is free to dispose of all bequests from me. except the Montclair property. which is for her use during her life. But if not, then it is my wish that at the death of my daughter the Montclair property or the proceeds of it shall be divided between my nephew Luther Stone if living. or his father and the children of Luther. if Luther is not living, and between my niece Emma Lawrence Blackwell if living, and if not living. her mother and the children of Emma Lawrence Blackwell and in case Clara M. B. Blackwell and Alice stone Blackwell per the estates left by this will to them. Each of these notes is divided into three parts, and secured by mortgage on the land recently sold by me to the parties above named, and is to bear interest at the rate of seven pr. ct. per annum, from Mar. 7th 1866, and [all] are due in one, two and three years. They are to be collected without further charge by Anson Ballard of Appleton Wisconsin. [Also, three notes of four hundred and twenty five]also.
