BLACKWELL FAMILY AGNES BLACKWELL JONES BLACKWELL, HENRY139 West 64th St Nov. 23d '97 My dear Uncle Harry- Your delightfull mailable wedding present was received last night & I am a thousand times obliged to you. It seems like Christmas all the time lately, but I can't quite feel that I deserve all these things. Your advice about "getting mad" is capital & I'm going to read it to Tomwhen he comes tonight. Last night he was very late at the bank. So I did not see him. I think Elliot is having a beautiful time here this time. His throat is not troubling him & he has decided not to see the Dos. till after the wedding, so he has nothing to do but go about the city sight seeing & bicycling a little & having a goodtime generally. It is a complete change & rest for him & Florence also is looking well, while Walter spends nearly all of his time & pennies feeding peanuts to the animals in Central Park. He also has a new pair of shoes & looks as happy as a king. Thanking you again dear Uncle Harry I am your affectionate niece Agnes.
