BLACKWELL FAMILY Antoinette Blackwell Clara S. Laddef, Mrs.331 Bay Way, Elizabeth--Nov. 24/11 Dear Mrs. Clara S. Laddey; 1911 Two or three apologies are due you for my unconventional neglects but now I wish to express my appreciation of your generously accepting the Presidency when you knew it to be a great burden. It was very good of you, and was the best that could be this year. Also let me say that where I can I will gladly help you whenever I can consistently, either with money or work; but I am not rich in either. I gave the Treasurer $10. at the annual meeting; but if much work is to be done in N.J. more will be needed and I will help. If my ears were as young as I feel I would attend the meetings, but I generally hear next to nothing and cannot take part either in business or discussions which is very awkward to me and others also; and long distances or eveningsespecially do not suit me. But I can still talk occasionally if there should be a lack of speakers at any time--if disengaged. So if kept posted as to what is to be done will do or not as desired. Cordially and with much apprec[?] of your energy. Ever your Antoinette B Blackwell
