CATT, CArrie ChAPMAN GENERAL CORRESPONDENCE Whitehorse, V. Feb. 28 32 EAST SIXTY-FOURTH STREET Dear Mrs. Catt: I am so proud and pleased that you have included me in the group to be present when you receive the medal from The National Achievement Award Committee. I accept with pleasure and if the invitation comes to the dinner at the White House for May 16th I will accept that and be there! (D. V.) If you want us each to say a few words I should like just to mention one of the incidents in our Suffrage Campaign that made a vivid, perhaps the most vivid impression [an] me. It will be a joy to see you and listen once again to the speech you are to make - As to your deserving a medal! If there were any thing in medals you should be covered with them. Our farm at Middleburg is closed for the winter and we are here in New York. In May we will undoubtedly be there - With devoted love to you Vera Whitehouse Transcribed and reviewed by volunteers participating in the By The People project at crowd.loc.gov.
