Cattell, about 25 or 6--folks mother, father, &c. live at Gloucester--his grand, or great grandfather, Jonas Cattell, a great runner, & Revolutionary soldier, spy. (I-was down at Wh. Horse, 17th, 18 & 19th June, '76- -saw Ed.-- (the "festival" in the tent, with the girls & tables & crowd-- the evenings at Geo. Stafford's- -the hour (night, June 19, '76, Ed & I.) at the front gate by the road--) --sent note & papers by ) Harry, June 23d--the ride over to Montgomery Stafford's--Uncle Jack--Mrs. Patience Townsend- -the ride home, & down to the creek-- the swim of the boys, Ed.
