                            Boston
             Sept.  26  '81.--To-day  the Burial of President Garfield at
Cleveland, Ohio.   I write this out on North Avenue.

           There is a [general] universal suspension of business, the
    [stor]  offices, stores,  factories, &c.  being all closed, but the
streets are full of people, and the facades ed.  [?]Boston
