1890 29 January A Christmas Greeting: Proof with Corrections. A.MS.
(3p. 13 1/2 x 18 1/2 cm.)
Written in ink on a proof of 'A Christmas Greeting', a 9-line poem,
with corrections in title, sub-title, lines 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 (all
punctuation or spacing, except for 'impedimentas' for 'impediments'
in line 3, 'aim' for 'cism' in 4, 'reaching arm' for 'rcaching aim'
in 5, and 'Crown' for 'crown' in 8), 4 words:

wider spacing   impedimentas   aim

Second proof, with notation by Traubel (See notes 1/29/90) has
been corrected; it has no MS material by Whitman.

Third proof, similar to second, has same notation by Traubel, and 
3 emendations: 'A Christmas' cancelled in title, sub-title (From a
Northern Star-Group to a Southern) put on same line as title, and
