[eened] Friend:- Yours of the 2nd Inst. at hand and contents noted. Please excuse the over sight in not answering your former letter. We found that it was very slow work getting off the prints from the film negative, particularly with the dull weather that we have had lately. Accordingly we made yesterday several additional negatives to work from and now hope to get the prints off much faster. We would gladly have sent down some prints had we had them ready but with the bad weather and only one negative we were only able to get off three or four. We hope during next week we can give you quite a lot of them. Your truly, Thomas H. McCollin & Co.
