Written in ink on a piece pasted to the back of cardboard used 
for backing photographs, with WALT WHITMAN, CAMDEN, NEW JERSEY 
printed in the lower left-hand corner and '328 Mickle st: written below 
the name, and 'See Notes May 7, '89' written in Traubel's 
hand in lower right-hand corner, 67 words:

Wanted:

a strong first-rate out door chair for an old 200 lb invalid 
--to be push'd or pull'd along the side walks & on the ferry 
boats--roomy chair, back high--ratan or reed seating & back (no 
cushions or stuffing) 

go to Wanamaker's first & interview the charge of the Chair &c. 

Department & show him this card-- 
then to Luburg's 145 north 8th street-
