Company (H) 1 Regiment of Meade Cavalry
VOLUNTEERS who was enrolled on the 16th day of August
one thousand eight hundred and 61 to serve three years or
during the war, is hereby Discharged from the service of the United States,
this 20th day of August, 1864, at Berryville
Va by reason of expiration of term of enlistment
(No objection to his being re-enlisted it known to exist*)
Said Reuben Farwell was born in Lyons
in the State of New York, is 25 years of age. 
5 feet 5 inches high, light complexion, blue eyes, 
dark hair, and by occupation, when enrolled, a Farmer
Given at Berryville this 21st day of 
August 1864.
