letter of the 11th came
to hand today sorry
to learn of your sick-
ness I hope the June
breezes will restore to you
your [inherited?] vigor
I was in Columbus
Grand Army day and
looked to see you until
my eyes ached
Next day looked over the
dailies to see if your
name was [missing?]
the Notables. But had
to leave for home on
account of sickness
almost guess your sick-
ness cannot be tracedto maple sugar, but
am glad to know that 
it gave so much sat-
isfaction and enjoym-
ent I will send a
copy of your book to
Nancy today She lives 
in Wooster Ohio Nettie
will answer you letter
soon Walter lives in
Deleware Ohio. He
studing Book keeping
Type Writing Penmans-
hip and Shorthand
Writing Expects to be
there some months
yet and when he
finishes his course
will go West again
My youngest son
[?] is a first
class penman now3

I had interest
to send you some
money soon for those
books, but you say in
your letter you do not
have any account
will wait until you 
come here in the
near future A great
many of those elm
trees have disapeared
also the fall weather
days, that used to be
such a treat for the
small boys When
your health and time
permits you to visit
our home send
me a card of your
probable arrivel and
will meet you at the4
Fredericktown station.
It has been quite cool
all the season so far
but a few days of real
hot weather, but just
the kind for good nice
plump wheat, grand,
gras and oats weather
Time enough for
corn yet.  Famely all
well as far as known
have not heard
from Julia lately
She lives in Cando

Touner County
