concerning Mrs. Blackwell's
book was duly received.
   I am now sending
the $5 additional which you 
say will secure it and
I shall be most happy to 
be the possessor of a book
about my old friend, Mrs.
Blackwell, written by her
still dearer daughter.  I 
would like the inscription to

be to Ellen F.[isher] Adams.
   It was a beautiful
thought of Miss Blackwell
to give this book to her
Memorial Fund.
