To American Anti Slavery Society $75.00 To Bangor Female Orphans Society $75.00 To Bangor Female Charitable Society$50.00 To Sewing School for poor Children $25.00 To Publishing tracts in the Educational and Industrial Operations of Women $38.00 [total] $263.00 Of this last sum it is intended that $15 shall be applied to the expense of printing "Woman and her wishes" which we understand was paid by Rev. J. W. Higginson. I do not know how to remit the $75 for the Amer. Anti Slavery Soc. through any better channel than yourself. Accordingly I enclose check of Eastern Bank in Suffolk Bank for $113 payable to your order to be by you applied above mentioned. Will you inform me of its safe arrival. I believe our disposition of the funds is satisfactory here and those who contributed to form it universally express great gratification in having listened to your lectures. Dr. O.W.
