My Dear Miss Blackwell:
We have been in the earthly paradise
of sunshine for 4 years, summer and winter.
Friends say both Mrs. Gallup and
myself grow younger - to their apparent
surprise - but Florida is not known
yet - to the world of hurried folk.
By a process of selection, aided by
the Encyclopaedia Brittanica, the Open
Stair Dwellings have at length also been
brought into world wide attention but
like Florida need to be brought to the
eye of leaders. I was a director of the Corporation while in New York.
With your great power to influence
women, can you not summon many
powerful ones to the task of establishing
units of these very successful multi-family
buildings in parked areas, near rapidly
growing industrial centres where
new slums are steadily developing?
My best wishes to you with the hope
you will remember me also to Mr. Howard 
Blackwell. The bound copy of the Woman's Journal
