NAWSA GENERAL CORRESPONDENCE PUTNAM, A.P. [*Rev A P Putnam Concord Mass*] Concord, Mass. Aug. 2. 1893, Dear Sir [*Rec Aug 3 1893*] Our Anti-Slavery book is in press & we are getting ready for it the picture of the grouped friends on the stage - a very good picture, I am glad to say. So many were called forward by the audience as well as the President, that I find difficulty in identifying two or three of them - as for instance a lady, full faced & with a hat, who sat immediately at your right. Possibly she may be a Newburyport friend, Do you recall her & can you give us her name. Perhaps, if not, Chs Stone may, who sat not far at her right, with Rev. Aaron Porter, W.L. Garrison, & Marcia P. Hunt, between. Shall be greatly obliged for aid. Yours very truly, A P Putnam Transcribed and reviewed by contributors participating in the By The People project at crowd.loc.gov.
