Dear Mr [Higginton?]

Your kind note of the 
26th [inst?] has just reached me. Frankly, I have 
never taken any part in the Woman Suffrage Movement. 
It is a mistake that I was intending to go to Kansas 
when the subject was under discussion there, and I 
could not possibly be in Boston on the 10th 
11th of January. Will you not visit New York 
some time this winter? If so, I hope you 
will let me know of it. I should be very 
happy to see you here.
