Dear Miss Blackwell:
It was very good
of you to come to our
tea at the Hotel Vendome
and I want to send you
my personal thanks as
well as a big thank you
from the Phi Chi Theta
girls.
The girls enjoyed meeting
you very much and
many expressed their regret
at not having the privilege 

of hearing you speak.
But I felt that it would
be an imposition to ask
you to speak in addition
to coming to our tea, par-
ticularly on a hot day.
