Birthday of Robert Purvis. 
The eightieth birthday of Robert Purvis will take place on the 4th of August. He is the only surviving member of the American Anti-Slavery Society, with the exception of John G. Whittier. His fifty years of faithful advocacy of woman's rights makes a note of the event in the Woman's Journal doubly appropriate. We form a host of friends in wishing him "increasing happiness with - re-[?]ing years."
