But. Major A. MCL. CRAWFORD, V. R. C., is hereby detailed to 
superintend the collection of all claims for bounties and back pay 
due to discharged soldiers of the U.S. Colored Troops, or their 
legal heirs.

Discharged soldiers, and all others interested, are warned 
against entrusting their claims to persons doing business as 
claim agents, as they have not authority from this Bureau for 
collecting the above-mentioned claims.
