I at the same time acknowledge that I have received of Joshua Howard Paymaster U. S. L. Rosecrans to take effect on the 13th day of February 1863; that his place of residence is Three Rivers St. Jo. Co. State of Michigan and that he is not responsible for or indebted to the United States for any arms, equipments, clothing, stores or for any other account whatever.
