Dear Florence-
One of the boys here, a lieutenant who came back from France with me, is leaving to go back. He asked me to send some flowers to his wife for X-Mas, thinking perhaps I might be going back to the States. As that is indefinite just now, I told him I would ask you to send them. Eight dollars of red roses, or anything close to that. He has paid me. Will you telegraph the order through any florist. His wifes name and address. Mrs Walter S. Olson. c/o Wylie Dunn Elk City, Oklahoma. Message: “Merry Xmas with love, signed
