Dearest Bobby,
Do hope you are not sick. I have not heard from you this last week. I look every day I got your Christmas card. And it was real pretty. I am mailing your box tomorrow if the Dear Lord wills. I do hope you enjoy the nuts and cake. And I am sending you two wash [cloths]. Do hope you have a good Christmas.
We all have so much to be thankful for the Dear [Savior] birth. He is a wonderful friend. If young people would just let Him come into [their] heart and lead them. He would save them from so much heart ache and [trouble]. I do thank Him for His wonderful love to me.
Daddy is fine. He went to church this morning. I did not go. I am going to night with Ruth, Cathy and Candy is singing.
to night in the [choir] at [Calvary].
