Hi Family,
I think I might come home in July now that the 1 year tour of duty is effective in Vietnam.
Boy, I hate this working in the Brig, I hate M.P. Company.
I don’t even stand duty, I’m the steady artist around here. You’d be surprised how good I’ve gotten at painting
signs. I make signs with perfect lettering now. From doing so many of them, I have learned a few tricks that make my work look really good. Even the signs that I think aren’t too good, are highly praised.
Right now I have so many portraits to do that I don’t think I will ever finish them all. I found out how to do pastels to make them really look O.K.
How’s hunting comming[sic] along, has Pap + Phil gone yet?
Well I guess I better quit, the lights are about to go off.
See you Soon
Bob
P.S.
Yes I’m living in a tent.
I’m going to buy a Sting Ray when I come home.
