Hi Family,
I’m on the bridge now, actually I’m in Regiment and the bridge is down the road. My job is to provide security for mine sweepers every morning. It’s not bad at all.
Instead of being here 6 weeks, we’re only going to stay 3 weeks, but the rest I’m getting sure is appreciated.
Last night I got sort of tanked the Gunny got mad at me, but it was worth it. I hardly drink at all anymore, I can’t, no beer to be had.
I’m writing more now that I’m a grunt than I did as an M.P.
Man, I can’t wait to come home.
You know, here at regiment, they have hot showers, that’s new to me over here. I feel real clean after a hot shower, and I’m not used to that.
I’m really doing some letter writing today, I’m mailing 3 letters in a few minutes and I just mail 2 yesterday. Mail call is what’s happening, it’s the highlight of the day.
Well I’m still O.K., don’t worry about me. I miss you all.
See Ya!
Love Bob
