>> Yo, so what's happening, everybody? What's happening, everybody? What's happening, everybody? Happy morning, happy morning, happy morning or afternoon, or afternoon, or afternoon. This is your man Jason Reynolds back again with another edition of the "Write. Right. Rite." So everybody who knows me, like really knows me, like my friends, they know I love, I'm a big art snob. I love art. Some of you who've been following along with these videos probably know that by now. My house is full of art. I would show you, but I can't walk around with this, with the laptop, you know what I mean. Plus, I don't want y'all seeing my house, you know what I mean? But the one thing I love to do is I like to frame everything, right? So I have buttons that I have in here framed. I have a pair of jeans that I used to wear when I worked retail framed in my office. I have my grandmother's -- right behind me, my grandmother's -- you can't see it. I could turn it a little bit. So that thing right there, that's my, that's all the contents inside my grandmother's wallet, um, that I had framed, as well as her first job application. You know, all sorts of things that I love, I have them framed. And so what I want you to think about is, if you could frame anything, put anything you could put in a frame, what would it be. Would it be your old family vehicle, if you could put that whole thing in a frame and hang it on the wall? If it was your first pair of Jordans, right, that very first pair that made you feel big, and you could frame those and put those on the wall, if it were your first time making the honor roll, put that on the wall. What would it be, if you could frame anything? What would it be, and where would you put it in your home, and why would you frame that thing? Now, I want you to think about this because when we're talking about storytelling, all of it's about framing. All we're really doing is taking a thing and putting it in a frame, right? So think about what you'd frame, where you would hang it, and why you would choose to frame this particular thing to look at and admire every single day. Peace, y'all. Have a good one. I'll see y'all on the next one. And by the way, to your little cousin who at the basketball court right now pretending to be LeBron, tell him keep practicing, but it ain't looking good.
