>> Hey, hey, hey. What's happening? What's happening? What's happening? What's goody? What's goody? What's goody? Jason Reynolds back for another edition of the write, write, write. So, this -- Well, first, let me say this. Look, I live a life full of ridiculous, sort of, you know. I let my brain do whatever my brain is doing. I try to put that on a page. I write stories like "Sunny," which comes from really wowed and weird parts of myself, stories like "Look Both Ways," which comes from really weird parts of myself. And I make up all kinds of strange things, sometimes even making up words because it's fun. You know what I mean? And why not? We have the power to do whatever we want. Remember, this is express yourself how you want ritual, right. That's what we're doing, right? Now, this is called "The Synonym Finder." Huge book, right? Now, it's not an actual book you read. It's just a book full of words. I know, these days, we look on the internet for this kind of stuff. But this thing is like the greatest thing ever made. It's like a thesaurus times 10, right? And you go in here and you find a word. Like let's say, I don't know, incubate. And then it says like, you know, brood or hatch, or give form to, raise, bring up, nurture, nurse, all these other words that mean incubate. I don't know. That was probably a bad example. But you get it, right? And so, what I want us to do is think of a word that you use all the time and then make up other words for it. Make up the words, right? Other words that mean the same thing. For instance, jump. Everybody knows the word "jump," right? But in my world and in my mind, what if I could make up a new word called updown, right? U-p-d-o-w-n, one word, updown. And to jump is to updown, right? I don't know. We could all do this. So I want you all to think of some of the words that you love and then make up other words that mean them that don't actually exist. Give it a shot. Should be fun or at least a little funny. And I'll catch y'all on the next one. By the way, tell your grandfather that, like, honestly, you know, he got to shave a little bit before he keep giving me hugs. It's like scratching up my, you know. He's scratching me up. And I know I got a beard, but it's cutting through that. You feel me? I'm going to holler at y'all in the next one. Peace.
